Family-owned since 1970VITA MANAGEMENT S.A. is a family owned company founded in 1970 that specializes in all aspects of dry bulk vessel management - commercial, S&P, technical, crewing and procurement. We have over 55 years of experience in operating both geared and gearless tonnage ranging from Handysize to Kamsarmax vessels while at the same time we have built strong, long-lasting ties with Charterers, Brokers, Insurers, Classification Societies, Shipyards, Manning Agents and other providers in the maritime industry.

Conservative approach, quality tonnageWe have a conservative business approach which is implemented by utilizing a mixture of short and long term employment options, careful market timing and calculated fleet growth comprising quality tonnage. At the same time we strive to implement rigorous technical and HSQE standards with a clear commitment to continuous improvement. VITA operates its fleet in line with applicable National and International Regulations and laws as to safety, environment, security and sanctions and strives to create business relations only with top tier counterparties and partners.

Safety, environment, crew welfareSpecial care for any matters in connection with safety, the environment and crew welfare issues lie in the core of our business philosophy. Ships' operation is carried out with strict adherence to IMO Rules and Regulations including but not limited to the provisions of SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW and MLC Conventions. All our vessels are Rightship vetted and approved.
